Block Party

Saturday night House of Restoration had an outreach for the City, held in our church parking lot. The turn out was amazing regardless of the rain! We had music by different bands, a human video by our youth, free food, different crafts for the children and free bookbag give-aways full of school supplies!

Every time we are out side and all the neighborhood kids come around, I unexpectedly fall in love with them! They are usually dirty, and rough around the edges, but it's so easy to see past all that and into their sweet hearts :)

I think I got about 4 new boyfriends on Saturday (all under the age of 10...) One boy even made a necklace for me! They starve for love and affection, and it is a privilege to wrap my arms around them, play with them, correct them, and teach them.

I believe many lives were blessed that day, and House of Restoration is excited and determined to plan many more activities to bless our City, for the Glory of God!
