Preparation

Have you ever felt "stuck" in your life? A loss of passion because you feel you're not doing what you were meant to do? Or perhaps that your dreams are out of your reach and in the realm of impossibility? Well I believe God is saying "Never underestimate the value of preparation."
Think back to the stories in the Bible; David, a king a valiant warrior. He began his journey of self discovery in the fields alone with God leading a flock of sheep. He then made his way into the palace with King Saul, but just when he may have thought things were "looking up" he then found himself living in caves amongst the outcast. Although the other man wanted to turn against David at times, he ended up raising up an army of mighty men! It took time to develop unity, a new way of thinking and physical training, but eventually David went from leading sheep to a great army. And according to God's plan, David became King. From sheep, to outcast, to a kingdom, David journeyed on the timing and will of God. Do you think nights laying under the stars David ever imaged he would be royalty?

Dare to dream big in God! Never underestimate small victories experienced in God. David took care of his sheep faithfully; he killed a bear and lion to protect his flock! Later he glorified God by killing the giant, Goliath, which launched him into his destiny as King. God's word says that if we are faithful with little, then God will give us more!

What has God given you? What do you have charge of? Though it may seem small and insignificant, remain faithful, even if you find yourself in caves, look up because you never know where your cave experiences will take you! Preparation is Key to becoming the person God needs you to be! "Never underestimate the value of preparation."
