Author of our love story

Josh and I recently began reading the 40 day devotional "Purpose Driven Life" by Rick Warren. Day two of the book talks about our unique identity designed personally by God. Our creator strategically designed us as he saw fit; our hair type and color, our stature, every feature of our bodies, our skin color, our family, where we were raised, and what year we were born. Grasping this concept will change the way we view ourselves and our lives. If we believe we are existing in the will of God for our lives, then we are able to have joy and peace in all situations we go through.

I have admitted to you before, that much of the time I struggle in my current settings because deep down in my heart I am so desperate for something more and new! But God is teaching me that He is in control of my life, that He has written each page of my story...and although I don't know what each turn of the page may contain, I can have peace and know that He says, "I know the plans I have for you, plans for welfare and not for calamity, to give you a future and a hope." (Jeremiah 29:11)

I'd like to remind you that God knew you before you were even conceived! He designed you and created a story book just for your life! We will not know how long our story is, whether it will contain comedy, romance, suspense, disaster, or heartache, but we can be sure of how our story ends.....in heaven with the One who created us and holds our lives in his hands!

In the mean time, make every turn of the page come to life, make the most of each and every day! Let us live life to its fullest, pleasing God and loving others.
