Love Encounter

When I was in high school, one evening I found myself on an unplanned double date. We were all friends and had a fun time hanging out, but as we were all riding together in the car I began to worry about the drive home....you see the one guy picked me up earlier that day, and I knew the ride home would be uncomfortable because of his feelings for me and it would be just the two of us....i think you understand what I'm saying.
By some chance the area we were driving was near my house. So the driver asked me if I just wanted dropped off because it was getting late? I of course said "yes! Since we are close by that would be ok."
The moment I stepped out of the vehicle and they pulled away I couldn't stop rejoicing! I knew it was God answering my prayer and taking care of me!!
It was a warm summer night so I stayed out side at the end of my parents driveway out in the country. I sat on an old tree stump, looked up at the stars and began talking to God. Thanking Him, I felt this warm sensation around my arms. I can't explain it but with joy in my heart I knew it was my Lord's arms holding me close.
