Life Lessons

I so desperately wish that God could teach me a lesson, I instantly receive and understand it, and have it perfected. However, I am quickly realizing that the many lessons in life, although we may acknowledge them, are only learned over time. Years are required to perfect the skills needed to be more like Jesus. The skill of forgiveness. Skill of letting go. Skill of moving on. The skill of giving love in its truest form. God allows us to go though situation, hardships, victories and challenges in order to learn, grow, be wiser, stronger and more loving and understand just like Him!
The word of God says that our faith will be tested by fire, and that our faith is more precious than gold.
I am learning to deem it a privilege to be tested by God. Each day he is working to shape us into the image he meant for us to be....more like Him.
To the one in my life that is part of this shaping process...
