Heartbeat

Have you ever forgotten why you wake up each morning, why you drag yourself through the work day, why you don't just run away from your problems, and why you go through the same process day after day? Life has a way of drowning out passion, vision, excitement and purpose. However, I sense Holy Spirit is on the move; you will know this too when in the middle of your day you suddenly feel an unseen empowerment! Someone whispering to you "You have what it takes! You are meant to live beyond life's circumstance. Live life to its fullest!"

It is so easy to get wrapped up and overcome with life's details, but God is calling his people to live an abundant life. A life full of passion, joy, selflessness and servant hood. It's time we begin looking beyond ourselves. It's time we see the child in need walking down the street. Our coworker going through a divorce in desperate need of our hospitality. Our brother and sisters crying out for our prayers, forgiveness and understanding. Our friends who just need us to notice and care about their lives.

It's time for us to accept the Love of Jesus Christ and bring it to the world around us! If you allow Him, the Holy Spirit will give you a heart that beats to the rhythm of evangelism. With every breath you will desire souls. With every fiber of our being we will desire to out stretch our arms and extend love and the restoration power of God!

May our hearts be filled with the Spirit of God, may our eyes be opened and may our arms be extended to those around us, for the sake of the Gospel!
