Fresh Beginnings

Friday I took the day off work and got to spend the morning praying in my apartment. As I reflected on the year 2009, I admitted that it was a year of failure, successes, shortcoming with an end overcome with depression. I've gone through a personal war of light verses darkness this last year. Just when I thought the darkness had prevailed, my knight in shining armor once again stepped in and rescued me from my pain, oppression and hopelessness! Discouragement is no match for the King of Kings and Lord of Lords! As I humbled my heart and lifted my voice in prayer, I felt the heaviness lift as Holy Spirit spoke these words.."He is a God of new beginnings and fresh starts! He is doing a NEW THING! Behold the old is passed aways, behold new has come!" I felt as if God was speaking that a new season is beginning! Fresh anointing, and a new powerful fire is about to fall! Wider vision is approaching, with new passion to carry out the vision.

I pray that we the Children of God would begin 2010 with a new boldness and tenacity to push back the kingdom of darkness, tear down strongholds and destroy the works of the enemy! Let's take back all that was stolen from us this year! As you make a fresh start, remember, nothing is impossible with God, no depth is too far for Him to reach you.
