Lately I have had such a longing to travel and experience a different culture and people! I so desperately want to take in all that life has to offer :) I have challenged myself to get serious about learning to speak Spanish! (esp. if my dream is to one day preach in another language) I am currently investigating a trip to Israel this fall....Last night a meeting was held to discuss the vision and plans for the The Great Awakening Youth Movement. We are currently working on designing a logo and creating a collage to hang in the church to encourage all youth to come to our meetings Wednesday nights. We are also planning events, one being our trip to Ski Roundtop on July 18, bonfires, cookouts and pool parties!!
This is an exciting time, we are now in our second year of the church plant! It has been a bumpy road, many obstacles and challenges, failures and successes! Every step of the way has been a learning process. It seems that every breaking point we reach; when we feel we are about to fail and just want to give up, suddenly, God's power and wisdom shows up and He steers us through the storm straight to victory! I guess I must learn to just be happy when times seem so difficult and I don't want to go on, because SUDDENLY God moves in and changes the situation!! I am learning so much and have so much yet to learn!
Tonight I am patrolling the streets of York City with the Guardian Angels!
Saturday we have a pool party planned, and Sunday I'm going to a campground with some of my family!
