New Life!

Sunday's service was spent celebrating new commitments to Jesus, death to past lives and the joy of becoming a new creation! About 18 people were watered baptized at House of Restoration, and this was our second baptism service held in our current building.

A few weeks ago our church offered a baptism class, which 7 people attended. As we got near to Sunday's service, Pastor Daniel said he felt Holy Spirit urge him to throw out the "normal protocol" and open the baptism to ANY ONE who wanted it! So throughout the week he talked to a few people. But the time Sunday came, he said he expected about 10 or 12 people to get baptized....however, Sunday morning when the invitation was presented to the church, a total of 18 people responded!!

18 souls were immerged in water! Tears of joy filled family members eyes, and the whole congregation! After each person was baptized, Pastor had them line up and give a short testimony. Powerful words proceeded from the mouths of 'baby Christians.'

Father and daughters, husband and wives, mother and children were all baptized together!

It was the most beautiful display of death and new life!
