Philadelphia

Sunday January 9 Josh and I ventured into the city of Brotherly Love, Philadelphia! We woke up early and began our two hour drive at 7:30 am. Our first stop was In the Light Ministry church deep in the heart of Philly. The people and the service was wonderful to be part of. After the service, into our GPS we plugged lunch in as our next destination; the Market. We excitedly stood in line to experience "broccoli rabb" at Tommy Dinics.

Next stop during our day trip was the Holiday inn to pick up our tickets for the football game! The parking lot was full of faithful tailgaters. Then after parking what felt like miles away from the stadium, we dressed with layers upon layers of warm clothes, preparing to brave the cold weather!

Being in the stadium was so amazing! The voices were loud, the colors bright, the air cold....everything felt intense! Josh and I had a blast, regardless of the Eagles losing. After the game we inched our way through traffic and made it home around midnight. It was a great day in Philadelphia!
