Friday night Pastor Nate and Lisa arrived in my territory...we began with a tour of my apartment, then out to eat at T.G.I.F. Everyone was pretty tired from the week so that night we hung out indoors and watched Damon Thompson preach!! (this was an answered prayer, when I asked God to bring something into my life to feed my spirit and fill me up to keep my fire ignited)
Saturday morning, we slept in and took our time getting ready for the day. Then we walked down to the central market for a fantastic breakfast, and checked out all the stands. I got to take them into all the shops around the Market which are really cool...allowing me to prove Pastor Nate wrong about York.

After our leisure walk through the City, we headed to the church for the shish kabob and pina colada fundraiser. We enjoyed the food and drinks and spending

After sometime of hanging out and sweating in the summer heat, we headed to the York fair grounds for mine and my mom's company picnic for Wellspan. For 8,300 employees, the picnic was huge! Lots of free food and games....and hot sun! Once we ate our fill, and could stand the heat no more, we left and drove to the other side of town for the views and to cool off at the mall!......we enjoyed our evening and later made it back to my apartment and had pizza and wings delivered, and finished watching Damon Thompson! We went to bed fairly early from being wore out by the heat.
Sunday morning church service was really great! The worship and the sermon were a blessing! After the service we made a quick stop and the apartment, Lisa and I laid down for a few minutes while Nate killed a few spiders on my high ceilings, and took my sink pipes apart to try to fix a clog. Sometimes it's so great having a male around ;) To bring our time to a close we met some people from the church at Olive Garden. And after a great time of fellowship, we all said our farewells!
Thank you Nate and Lisa for being a part and experiencing my life here in York, PA. This weekend has reminded me how beautiful this City is, and how much God has blessed my life! "I like my life too!"
