Saturday morning I got up early (I can tell I'm getting older now that I can't sleep in anymore) But morning coffee with the Holy Spirit is my most favorite time of the day!

As I was walking through the streets an elderly couple was handing out tracks, I smiled and took one, but as I walked by another lady refused to take a track saying, "No thanks, I'm an atheist and proud of it!" The couple and I looked at one another and I said, "don't worry, there is not such thing as an atheist." They smiled and agreed. We began to talk sharing our hearts for our city and desire for people to know the love of Jesus. We stood on the street corner for a while talking and encouraging each other. I thanked them for being bold and stepping out to evangelize (it was a challenge to me) and they said it was an encouragement to see someone my age in love with the Lord. This divine connection was a blessing for both of us! We gave our farewells and I continued on my way.
Later that day I bought some paint so I could finally finish my bathroom, so I spent the afternoon painting! Around 7pm I put on my boots and red beret to patrol with the Guardian Angels! While we were preparing to go out one of the guys asked me about my tattoo which says "vida por vida" I told him it means "life for life" from 1 John 3:16.....as a preceded to talk I suddenly had the attention of all the men and Holy Spirit empowered me to begin preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ! (I love living life partnered with Holy Ghost!) Being an 'angel' is such an amazing experience! There is a unity and love for each other that you don't get to experience many places. You walk with people that you know have your back and look out for you because they care and want to create change!
Sunday morning we were blessed to have live worship by Brandon, he and our leadership are seeking God as to if it is His will for Brandon to call House of Restoration home...(I think our church is hoping God says yes!) Our service was wonderful, there is such a sweet comfort about being with a small community called family on a Sunday morning! After church a few of us went out to eat and continued our fellowship. My life is so blessed by these people :)
