Human Trafficking

I recently discovered what the rave was about regarding the newly released movie "Taken." A story of a father's fight to rescue his kidnapped daughter from foreign human traffickers. The movie provided an eye opener to this current problem of today. However it is safe to say that very few people posses the same 'abilities' or 'special skills' as the father in the movie. (a formal government operative; aka preventer) Watching this film caused me to confront thoughts of what I would do if placed in a similar situation..............Could you even imagine. Being taken from your home and loved one, to be sold as property and have your body violated and abused. The thought is sobering.

Every 60 seconds, an average of 2 children are being prepared for sexual exploitation

The average sex trafficking victim is only 14 years old. Thousands are only 7 and 8

Human trafficking has become one of the largest smuggling businesses in the world, generating 10 to 12 billion dollars a year.
Pray that God's love will shine in even the darkest of places. That sex trades would be exposed and that the women and children would find hope in Jesus. Intercede for their rescue.
